FA Kit 2019A partnership between Verite Sport and the Football Association has resulted in quantities of the FA’s surplus kit being made available to sports relief projects around the world. Stuart has enjoyed good relations with the FA since 2002. One of the first fruits of the relationship was enabling Verite Sport to facilitate the delivery of an FA coaching course in Ukraine. Several times the FA has offered surplus kit to Verite Sport.
In February 2019 Stuart collected 38 large boxes, containing around 2,000 garments, from Wembley. These have been distributed to UK sports ministries and other partners within a week. Some of the kit has already reached at least three African countries.
The Kuria girls in Kenya
Sunderland Samba project in Kenya
Sunderland Samba women's team in Kenya at a recent training camp in Nairobi together with young women from Mashangwa village who they invited to join their camp (8 hour bus journey) as they support women at a school in that rural community in South Western Kenya near the border with Tanzania. All are wearing donated England FA kit.
Thank you again to you and the FA for donating the kit and getting it to us. It is very much appreciated by these women's teams and school communities in Kenya and will contribute to Sunderland Samba FC's ongoing work through football with young women in Kenya.

RomaniaBen, who distributed the kit in Romania, told us: "It has been amazing to see them gel as a team and the kits has really helped that, they feel part of the team. This for some of them is the first time that they have felt a part of something, coming from very disorganised families and also orphanages".
