Masters 2016

The 2016 US Masters golf was one of the most exciting golf tournaments ever with England's Danny Willett winning when Jordan Spieth imploded. But one of the most remarkable performances of the week was that of Bernhard Langer, who ultimately finished 24th but who was in 3rd place after three rounds. The 58 year old Langer is of course a twice winner of the tournament but the following fact puts his achievement in context. While Rory McIlroy drove the green at the 354 yard 3rd hole, Langer found himself a mid iron short of the green.
