“All I know most surely about morality and obligation I owe to football”,
World Cup 2010
Stuart was in Cape Town for four and a half weeks during the World Cup. Thanks to a generous offer he was able to see all the games in Cape Town including quarter and semi-finals as a guest of FIFA. Stuart writes:“Contacting Christian players was a disappointment. In the end none of the players I knew came to Cape Town – several could have played in Cape Town had their results gone differently. I spoke to one player by telephone and left messages for others. I exchanged emails with a contact in the England camp but in the end the schedule was too tight.
“The media opportunities, however, made for a busy month. I worked with 2K+ International Sports Media making over 70 contributions to their radio programmes – in English, French and Spanish. The programmes are still available
I wrote a number of articles for The-Times-on-line, Baptist Times, BMS World Mission. See below.
The articles for the The-Times-on-line were as follows.

One day as Stuart walked around the Waterfront in Cape Town a girl approached him and asked, “Would you like a booklet?” – handing him a TWENTY-10. He replied, “Yes please, as I wrote it!”.
It was a reminder that our resources are used all over the world. At least 330,000 copies of the football booklet have been printed in the UK, South Africa, Nepal, Pakistan, Romania, Bangladesh, Reunion Island, Guatemala and the surrounding countries.
